Yes. An introductory call lets us understand the issue, run a conflict check and confirm whether we are the right people for it. There is no obligation on either side, and formal advice only follows a signed engagement letter.

Scope and fee are agreed in writing before work begins. Defined projects — a DPDP readiness programme, an AML framework build, a POSH set-up — are usually fixed fee. Continuing compliance work runs on a monthly retainer. Disputes are quoted matter by matter, with an estimate of likely cost and timeline up front.

Yes. We accept instructions across India. Where a matter requires local counsel or a local filing, we brief and supervise them, and you continue to deal with a single point of contact here rather than managing a patchwork of agents yourself.

Call us, then email the notice itself along with the date you received it and any correspondence that led to it. Do not respond substantively to the issuing authority until the position has been assessed — an early reply on the record is hard to walk back.

We treat enquiries as confidential. Please note, though, that an enquiry by itself does not create an attorney–client relationship or attract privilege — so keep this first message to an outline, and leave privileged or highly sensitive material until the engagement is in place.
